Vegas Baby!

Las Vegas...

Crazy city.

For Matt's birthday this year, I decided to surprise him with a trip to Las Vegas!!! He was super excited, he had never been there and it was a perfect birthday gift! We were there for 3 days, which was PLENTY long enough, we stayed at Mandalay Bay, and walked and walked and walked and walked every day! Here are a couple highlights of the trip!

Walking over the strip! It was super busy... against my knowledge, it was Nascar weekend. That was a WT weekend if I've ever seen one! {NOT saying all nascar fans are WT, just the hardcore creepy ones that we saw}


Matt's buddy Jamie was telling him all about the Casino Royale Denny's and their $1 beer specials... this was on Matt's must-see list!



We did see a couple shows while we were there. We saw the Blue Man Group - I love that show. VERY cool and very entertaining if you've never seen it. It's permanent there so the venue is amazing! We also decided to see Phantom of the Opera. HOLY MOLY. If you haven't seen it - this is the place to go! It was an AH-MAZING production, the staging was spectacular and it was just incredible all around.

We did a lot of site-seeing (aka walking), cruised the hotels, checked out local eats and just had a good time on absolutely no schedule.
