A few updates

Hi! Ok, so it's been a while... I mean since my last post mom has created AND posted on her blog 3 times! Go MOM! Anyways, there really hasn't been too much going on in our lives. Matt recently got his new bow on his boy's day to Chicago & Cabela's... WOOHOO

I'm telling you what, he asked to let it stay in our bedroom while we slept. That didn't happen. A little crazy, but he's happy :)

Vince is doing well... he's discovered how much he doesn't like his baths!

Him and Charlie are adapting to each other well... Charlie loves being the "big brother" and keeping Vince on the move at all times. Speaking of Charlie, he hasn't had much blog space.. so here he is!


And now, because I can't think of too much else to write right now... here are my cute nieces, nephew and mom!


Jadyn thought her head hurt so much, she needed a dramatic head wrap. Crazy lady.


She's just too darn cute isn't she? That's what I thought.

Vince!!

Matt & I recently got a new puppy... actually, last Saturday we got a new puppy! This is Vince.



Isn't he cute? That's what we think! he's a Mini Schnauzer and is a whopping 6 pounds! So far, him & Charlie are getting along great! As you may or may not know, Charlie loves to be chased... and Vince LOVES to chase! So it's working out. You can see below... Vince right now is getting left in the dust... a lot.



Other than Vince, there are a few exciting things in our lives... We just found out that Aimee & Jason are expecting in July!!! WOOHOO! Now, Katy & Jacob will have baby "Jorge" (that's what I named him) in June and Aimee & Jason will have Baby Bontrager in July! How fun! I love nieces & nephews! Matt is excited because on Saturday, he gets to visit Cabela's AND he is getting a new BOW! He's pumped. I'm pumped because American Idol starts TONIGHT! :) Yes, I'm a nerd, oh well. I am thankful for everything in our lives!

It's a brand new year!!!

I like New Years... it's a time to start it all over again! Learn from what you didn't do last year and all that jazz...

OK, so I figured it was due time to update this blog... especially since I've noticed Aunt Cindy updating hers from Down Under! Crazy lady! I figured if she can do it 4 times while she's gone, I can do it once sitting at home :) Here is how we spent our Christmas & New Years... on the 21st, Matt & I flew to North Carolina to see his parents (the flight was major delays, but we got out of Chicago, thank the good LORD). We stayed with them until the 26th and had to come home. It's nice going down there... no slick roads, but it was still colder there than Indiana! They keep telling us it's warm, but we always seem to bring them cold weather when we go to visit :) We love it though! Of course we had lots of quality time with the family, Matt's #1 fan Drew kept him busy! We celebrated Christmas day at Kelly & Tony's house. Here's a few pictures from that!

For New Years, we spent the night at Mom & Dad Bontrager's and woke up New Year's day to celebrate Christmas! New Years Eve was filled with games, Wii and lots of snow!
