Florida!!

Ok, I know it took me long enough... but here are some highlights from Cooper & my trip to Florida with my momma!

We went out for breakfast EVERY morning... yummy! This is in the Sun Garden Cafe' in Siesta Village. Best place ever! Cooper loved their sweet potato pancakes! Who could blame him?

Cooper did very well keeping up with the ladies! On Sunday we went to Ellenton outlet malls! Here's our chilled out little man...

In the condo there are lots of little decorative nooks... Cooper thoughtthey were for him to sit in! Love it.

We even made time to go to the pool a few times :)
Cooper loved his time with Grandma! ...although by this picture it may seem otherwise :)

He was definitely spoiled on the trip... there is now a baby-sized chair at the condo! Cooper loved it so much he wanted to sit in it in the cart until we got to our car! haha

One night in the condo, mom started tossing Cooper onto her pillows... he SPAZZED out completely and LOVED it! Here is a shot right after impact...
PS - we did get a video of the pillow tossing - go here to see it on Mom's blog.

My handsome little studious man with Grandma's glasses on!

Of course, traveling with Grandma means trying on LOTS of hats!!

And of course... there was the beach!

He LOVED running through the sand, splashing in the waves and just being on the beach! I think we have ourselves a beach bum :)

Rinsing off in the shower by the pool... he loved that too! haha Easy to please.

Of course, after we got home we had to stop at Bass Pro - I mean it's right on the way home... right?! Cooper & Daddy had some good times there.

Thanks Mom for taking us to Florida! We had a great time!!!

Where does the time go?

Well, hi!

No, I haven't forgotten I have a blog.

No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth.

Yes, I need to update.

Let's put it this way, 2 weeks ago I went to Florida with my mom for a week! {I know, really tough} We had a great time. I came home, went to the pumpkin farm the next day (Bontrager family tradition 4 years running!), then Monday (the very next day) Matt & I decided to put our house on the market by the next Tuesday (8 days! yes, we know we're nuts). What can I say? We fell in love with another house. So yes, I took a slight sabbatical, but I'm back and wanted to let you know that I will be giving a proper update soon. Until then, here are a couple shots from our Sunday at the Pumpkin Patch!

Aren't my boys so handsome?!
My little Momma's boy! Love it.

The Power of Prayer

Rusty & Lynette Polinder are missionaries in Thailand. I went to school and was friends with Lynette and she also happens to be my second cousin. They are in need of God's miraculous touch... On Sept. 25, Lynette gave birth to a little girl, Olive Hope, born 2-1/2 months early weighing less than 3 lbs. Nothing is more powerful than the power of prayer, so below is a link to Rusty & Lynette's blog so you can follow their story... they have been updating nearly every day. Their faith, selflessness and inspiration is amazing.

Alyah & Cooper

So a couple weeks ago I was home and got to watch little Ms. Alyah for an afternoon! Cooper & Alyah had a lot of fun together... when they were both awake! Their naptimes were almost completely opposite so it gave me time to spend with both of them! Here are a couple pictures.

Playing nice together... before they decided to fight over toys. Haha!

Cooper enjoyed gnawing on Alyah's paci like a cigar.
This little girl wants to walk SO BADLY! She was so excited to be walking with this toy!

Overall, we had a great day!

Another note: Cooper & I are leaving in a couple hours for Florida with my mom until NEXT Saturday (the 10th) - we'll try and keep you updated about our journey as we go along! Have a good one everybody!
