On the mantle... console table... whatever.

(This is blog #2 today - don't forget to read about Cooper's fun in a winter wonderland!)

So recently I was reading through one of my new FAVORITE blogs before Christmas - The Inspired Room - and came across this mantle decor and fell in love! As the blog is named... I was inspired!

One slight problem... I have no mantle.

But I have a console table. Score! Here is my rendition!

PS - I love my reindeer.

Playing in a winter wonderland!

I know, 2 blogs in 2 days. Amazing right? I am off work this week so I'm catching up on things I love doing in my free time (aka Cooper's nap time) and I love blogging!!

Yesterday while Matt worked on clearing my parent's driveway... Cooper & I had a great time playing in the snow! He has experienced snow... but this was his first time running {well... kind of}, playing and sledding in the snow!

Think "A Christmas Story" for this picture. I couldn't stop laughing because he couldn't move! hah! Just stood there taking it all in. Those tracks around his were from me running around... acting like an idiot :)

He still seemed a little worried, but got used to it and started laughing at his crazy momma.

This was his FAVORITE! Being pulled around in a sled and down big hills! {the hills in mom & dad's yard - but to him - HUGE} He laughed every time and would keep giggling as mommy tried to pull him up the hill each time, try to run down without falling or letting him run into trees... oh he had a blast!

I stepped away to take a picture and he grabbed the ropes and tried to hand them to me like "ummm hello what are you waiting for?!?!?!!"
Then we decided it was time to come in, dry off and warm up! What better way to do that then to play with Grandma's corn cleaning brushes?!?

...and hot rod through the house?
Here's to many MANY more winter wonderland play days!

Christmas Oranges

Family Traditions? Oh yes.
Family, food, candy, pie, food, family, oranges, pickles in the tree... plenty of family traditions to go around!
Every year in our stockings, we always got an orange at the bottom. You hit the orange and you know you're done... it also helps the stocking look nice & round on the bottom!

This year, Cooper LOVED this tradition!

Cooper found his orange (and also stuffed his paci in his mouth upside down. sheesh.)

Matt found his orange... but Cooper wanted it.

I found my orange. I was super pumped! hah!
Cooper took mine too - we just didn't get a picture of it.

Cooper & his oranges. Yummy yummy orange skin!

Ahhhh... enjoying the spoils.

Merry Christmas from the Gorsuch Family!
(I know it's a couple days late, but we were traveling! It's the thought right?!??!)

A weekend away.

So my last blog told you that it was Matt & my anniversary! Well... since then we've been to the National RV Show & back and it was DUE time to celebrate our marriage!

This last weekend... we visited my old stompin' grounds... Indianapolis!

And if you know me, you know I'm a fan of the Colts... just a little bit.

So our anniversary weekend was a night away and a Colts game! Matt wasn't feeling great, but luckily he's better now. We enjoyed a movie on Saturday night and then he endured a whole day of me not putting my camera down for more than a potty break! We had a great time, had great seats and most importantly, great company. I love you honey! Happy Anniversary... again!

Enjoy the photos!

Lucas Oil Stadium... my first visit. Sooooo beautiful!!

Cue the HALLELUIAH chorus.

Some nice Broncos fan took our photo by the end zone... Thanks dude - too bad we whooped ya :)
">

These seats were so cool! Luckily, ours were much more comfy!

Us at our seats!

Me. Excited. Again.
{go figure}

The run begins!

Whoopin' some Bronco behind!
We had a great time! If you ever get a chance to get to this stadium, I highly recommend it. It's AH-mazing.
And no worries, Cooper was in good hands. He stayed with Uncle Roger, Aunt Kim & all his cousins! Here's what he did on Sunday...
